A: The website migration service that we are offering is free (to a certain extent). We’ll migrate your website(s) to our high–end cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from personal experience that switching web hosting providers can lead to lost info and unwanted network downtime. This is why we’ll accomplish all that for you for free!We have trained administrators whose primary task is to ensure that your website functions exactly as it did on your old web hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–made websites, as well as websites that are based on popular applications like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: There are lots of factors to take into consideration – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our web site migration experts, etc. That said, we do our very best to carry out all web site migrations within a 48–hour time window. Smaller–sized websites are migrated faster – usually in under 24 hours.

A: Yes. We will need the name of the web site that you want us to transfer. We’ll also require a way to log into your current web hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your website.

A: Before we can begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose literally the same details you have provided to your present hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate information is dealt with.

A: Nah. Your site will remain reachable online during the migration. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything’s fine, all you will need to do is modify your domain’s DNS records.

A: While we transfer your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never get in touch with them in any way.

A: Yes. We support all regular Linux–powered hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, because we don’t provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we don’t support proprietary website building and management user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
